Here at A to Z Horse Cookies, we believe in empowering other women within the equestrian community, and love to share the stories of strong business women in the industry! It is a beautiful thing when woman can work together to fulfill their dreams – and that is exactly what sisters Michelle and Heather of DaMoor’s Feed and Tack in Glendale, California have done!
Equestrian Sisters Make Fabulous Business Partners
Horses are in these women’s blood. The girls grew up riding – Heather showed hunter jumpers, and Michelle had a passion for working with young horses. In 1987 DaMoor’s Tack & Feed was founded by their parents as a family business. These ambitious ladies bought the company from their father in 2010 and have been upholding that same family customer service ever since!
“We love seeing young riders come in so full of spirit for their new sport, as well as enjoying our long time customers’ stories. We try to have a happy feel with our store. We like to refer to our store as “Cheers”, where everyone knows your name.” – Heather Guercio
A Place for Every Horse Rider
Today, DaMoor’s specializes in providing their customers with quality english tack, feed, riding apparel and equipment, and lifestyle products for not only horses – but pet and small farming needs as well. They pride themselves on being able to “feed them all” – from the performance horse to the pleasure horse. And of course, they carry the healthiest of horse treats, A to Z Horse Cookies!
“We sell A to Z cookies at our store for many reasons. We personally feed them to our own horses. We love giving our horses treats that they not only love, but we feel good about. A to Z has always been a great company to work with. We also love that we have a healthier option to give to our horses. Our customers all ask for them by name, and they display nicely as well. All in all we highly recommend feeding A to Z cookies if you are looking to try a treat for your horse.” – Heather Guercio
